My pal Amanda and I caught the movie Airplane in July. We sat in the pool right by that silver railing and sipped wine. We rode our bikes there from her King's Highway home and questioned why we hadn't been to all the the Belmont's summer movies. Just this morning I was wishing they would resume a movie schedule for fall. Got to work, checked my email, and sure enough they have. There's prolly only two or three I don't care to see. Definitely going to all the others. You should, too.
Per The Belmont's email: What better
way to spend a late summer evening than watching classic movies with friends
under the stars poolside at the Belmont Hotel? The Belmont in conjunction with
Corgan Media Lab is proud to announce the return of Drive In Movies at the
Belmont starting
September 9th at sunset and continuing every Wednesday evening October 28th.
With Blankets in tow, film buffs can watch their favorite movies under the
stars on a giant movie screen at the Belmont Hotel pool with the Dallas skyline
as the backdrop.
