My sweetie-pie Jenn surprise prezzied me a CD on Friday night at a movie-watching party on a pal's front lawn in Kessler Park. Late to the game on this (it was released in 2010), I discovered this ever-so-addictive track and it's been a happy presence ever since I popped it in the player on Saturday. It's followed me everywhere—mirror-dancing in my bedroom and bathroom, shimmying in the seat of my car, shoulder shaking and head bouncing on an lengthy road-bike ride. Listen. Repeat. Listen. Repeat. And so on and so on. I played it three times yesterday as I drove from my crib to meet a party of pals celebrating two friends being home for a visit from Alaska. Guess what song instantly came on the stereo when I walked into the festivities at Eno's? Yep. This one! It's a happy 9-minute love affair that doesn't fail to deliver.
